If you’re the kind of person that values family a lot, and you’re in a position (that you‘ve chosen to be in) where you do not get to see your family often, but you have the opportunity to see a family that embraces you and loves you like their own and is extremely excited to see you every time they get the chance, wouldnt you want to embrace them back, as the next best thing? Especially instead of pushing them away and refusing to see them? By pushing them away and refusing to see them every time you have the opportunity to see them, doesnt that make it seem like you don’t like them? But if that is not true, and you DO like them, then what is the answer? What is the reason for refusing to see them?
It is important to me to know the answer, because it doesn’t make sense to me.
