Smoking pot not a major cancer risk: report

so, i am a happy person. i like being happy. i like when other people are happy. i like making other people happy. ive realized that there is too much potential good in life to let bad things get in the way of the chance for good to shine. plus, happiness is therapeutic. the best therapy of all, in my opinion. especially because it is all up to you.

the only problem is…when you are surrounded by sad or depressed faces, or mad or cold faces, or well, generally unhappy faces, it is extraordinarily difficult to maintain that happiness.

..if anyone has a remedy for this overcoming unhappiness, for crying out loud, i beg you, help me out.

so while I was brushing my teeth (and seeing skulls: see past post), i saw a little spider playing around on a plug in an outlet. I really wanted to see that spider climb inside the open socket…and explode.
..is that bad?

so, you’d think getting new floor in your bathroom (and supposedly the kitchen in the near future) would be a good thing, right? Not with our landlords. They started on thursday, that was…yep, FIVE days ago. Turns out, it took them the full 2 days just to get the floor out (not counting the weekend, of course, because the lame asses take that off, even if they say they will be in, yeah, they wont) and now, he has the toilet out in the hallway, RIGHT in front of garrets door, i dont know how he got in without having to full out hurdle it, there were 3 five-gallon pails in the hallway right in front of the hall “food” closet, and the bathroom door taken off and set up against the hall “food” closet so nobody could eat! and a bunch of shit inside the shower and on the sink/counter. So basically, the bathroom is completely inoperable. I had to go to the rec center after work tonight in order to take a shower.

all just to get floor in the bathroom that isnt detrimental to our health. goodness, i do not want to see what it is going to be like for the kitchen floor being put in.

how would you say “health” plural anyways. “healths”, “healthses”, just plain “health”, or what? say “health” 10 more times and it completely loses its meaning. weird.

I had a great weekend. emphasis on great.

I got a new car! I had been looking at this 98 Buick Regal, and I picked it up this weekend. Oh man, I am just loving this car. It has heated burgundy leather seats (I always say dark brown, because thats what it looks like to me, but I guess its burgundy…which is cool, I guess, cuz then I can call them Ron Burgundy seats…yessssss!), there is climate control and digital gauges and you can see your instant mpg, a moon roof, a cd and tape deck player, volume and seeking on the steering wheel…man i couldnt have asked for more.
I spent some time with my family–we went (sort of) shopping on saturday. I got a dish drainer.
I went to visit grampsies and gramma…it was grammas birthday yesterday. I brought gramma the kind of candy she likes so much that not many people knows she likes, and i found grampsies rare candy bar (that you can usually only get in like south dakota) in the grocery store 2 blocks from my house, so i brought him that too..it was really nice to see them, and it looks like grampsies is doing well, which makes me extremely happy.
I also got to hang out with Melanalaly, even though what we had planned didnt work out..at all.
And, I got to see my Kany, which was awesome. He drew a star on my hand (just thought id mention that since that is where the title of this post came from) I think Im falling for this one. I really am. He is..amazing.
I had to work all day yesterday, from 1130 to 1000, but it was cool cuz i needed the hours and it wasnt bad work at all after we had it running smoothly. We were running about 100,000 sheets of paper in order to test to see how it runs through the machine.
Right after work I went to visit Tera at good ol’ smen and smerrys (thats Ben and Jerry’s for the non sma-speakers) That was fun, I helped her put the chairs up on the tables and got some free gummi bears. Then when we got home we started to watch White Noise. It looks really good, but we just couldnt finish it.

Okay, so the other day I asked the girl from work if she could stay the extra 2.5 hours until the next shift person comes in. Instead of saying something like “Well, I could, but I do have something else I had planned on doing…do you really need me to? I can see what I can do…?” instantly it is “No, I really can’t.” I mean, I totally understand that no one wants work if they dont have to….but a complete lack of willingness to help out? double you tee fuck, man.

…but I guess thats the difference between me, and, well, much of the rest of the population.
